Porcelain Paving Installation at The Hurt Arms
GWH Paving Services were proud to be involved in the redevelopment of The Hurt Arms in Ambergate, helping to create stylish outdoor hospitality spaces through the installation of premium porcelain paving. Working as part of a wider renovation project, our team delivered high-quality workmanship across extensive outdoor dining and entertainment areas.

New driveway, patio & walkways
The following project shows the finished result of a new driveway, patio and walkways. The client had a large garden but wanted a low maintenance space for entertaining, dining, and relaxing.

Driveway in beautiful reclaimed stone setts
This project showcases the detailed process of creating a substantial driveway using exquisite, reclaimed stone setts. This driveway, impeccably matching the aesthetic of the age-old stone house, exudes an ageless charm and elegance. The harmony between the materials and the surrounding architecture delivers a classic, timeless appeal.
Engineering & construction of garden steps
The following case study details the engineering and construction of a set of Scoutmoor Sandstone garden steps on a challenging steeply sloping site. All engineering works and cutting of the stone to the correct sizes were all carried out on site to achieve the final look of the project
Sandstone patio & steps
On this large imposing site, we installed natural sandstone coursed paving in random lengths. Slot channel drainage was installed across the width for surface water runoff. We also added bullnose step kits, front coping detail & new feature steps. A water based sealant was applied to complete the project.
Driveway & patio in natural re-claimed sandstone setts and flags
The following case study shows a project from initial ground works and removal of old surfaces, to work in progress through to completion. The contract was carried out in Ashover and used 350M2 of reclaimed setts and 100M2 of reclaimed flags.
